STUDY 11An Evening, Together
A friendship studyAbout 5 minutes

Walking Together

A gentle collective stroll makes the friends feel like themselves.

Shooting card
How many friends?
Say it simply

1“Take two slow steps toward me.”

2“Leave a little room between you.”

3“Keep your faces where I can see them.”

The pose, in detail

Small natural strides, separate swinging arms, clear face gaps; most look toward camera, neighbours may glance at one another while retaining facial visibility.

Place everyone

Exactly 8 teenagers in a loose shallow row on a broad permitted lawn, faces within 0.5 m of the same depth. Take two slow steps toward a stationary parent.

Comfort comes first.

Stand still in the same row, then ask neighbours to exchange a small smile. Keep real faces, body proportions, and clothing unchanged.

Before you move on

  • Check for: feet cut off mid-step
  • Check for: face blocked by neighbour
  • Check for: motion blur or exaggerated strides

Take a short sequence during the action; choose a frame with open eyes and clean limb separation.
